Combined Braking System [CBS]

"CBS simply means that the front and rear wheels can brake together", says Sam at Bengal.   I asked Sam about how it compared to the MAGURA IBS system.  I had noticed that the only difference is that there's no enclosed casing, but Bengal showcases the mechanically trademarked pieces needed to operate this new braking system.  CBS optimizes braking force distribution between the front and rear brakes of bicycles and cargo bikes.

"After studying the CBS system on motorcycles, I noticed some minor issues, which led me to design the current system — simple yet functional." said Sam at Bengal.  Both Bengal and Magura were inspired by the controlled braking used on motorcycles.

The linkage design of front and rear brakes ensures better deceleration and stability when braking.

CBS is activated every time the brake is applied, providing optimization of riding dynamics.

The CBS requires no power supply or sensors, providing convenience and reliability over product durability.
